District-Wise Sports Events Will Be Planned: Pathan

Jaipur. Former State Minister and PCC General Secretary Ameen Pathan met former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at his Civil Lines residence after being appointed as the State President of the Sports Cell by the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. During the courtesy meeting, Pathan expressed his gratitude to the Congress party for entrusting him with this new responsibility. He assured that he would work with full dedication and commitment in the interest of sports, sportspersons, and youth, while also promoting the party's ideology. He held a detailed discussion with former CM Gehlot on planning a statewide movement against the neglect being shown by the Rajasthan government towards sports and youth. Pathan also discussed a comprehensive action plan to organize district-wise sports events through the Sports Cell and to identify and encourage talented sportspersons across Rajasthan. Several youth leaders associated with sports, well-known cricketers, and officials from Rajasthan Congress were also present on the occasion.
