Mirza Shafique Baig has appointed the State General secretary of Indian Journalist Association Marathwada unit.

With the consent of the National President of the Indian Journalist Association Jr. Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, Marathwada State President Mohammad Tabish has appointed senior journalist from Aurangabad and editor of Aurangabad News Marathi daily newspaper Mirza Shafique Baig the state general secretary of Marathwada.

All the journalists present at the office of Aurangabad News Marathi daily newspaper congratulated Mirza Shafique Baig by garlanding him with flowers.

While addressing the journalists, Mirza Shafique Baig said that by connecting all the journalists from city to village in the Indian Journalist Association, I will continue to fight for the protection of journalist interests and against incidents of harassment.

On this occasion, Indian Journalist Association Aurangabad Sheikh Irfan Khan, District General Secretary Azim Khan, Jalna District President Aamer Khan, District Secretary Sheikh Salim, Mirza Mukhtar Baig, Sheikh Aziz, Sheikh Wasim, Abdul Basit etc. were present.
