Son of Papurna Sarpanch, absconding for two years, arrested.

Fraud in Mining Department, serious charges including SC/ST Act

Police have achieved a major breakthrough in the case of registering Dev Construction Company using forged documents in the Mining Department. The Jhunjhunu Special Team arrested Sunil Gurjar (24), a resident of Papurna village, who had been absconding for the past two years. The accused is facing charges of fraud, conspiracy, and violations under the SC/ST Act. According to the police, Sunil Gurjar registered the company in the Mining Department using forged documents. He is reportedly the son of the Papurna Sarpanch and the elder brother of Sanjay Dev Gurjar. Intensive questioning of the accused is underway after his arrest. According to Khetri police, the complainant, Shriram Meena, had filed a report on March 17, 2021. The case involves allegations of fraud and clandestine sale in a partnership concerning mine number 284/03 (Bhukri ki Dhani, Khetri Tehsil). It is alleged that the mine was sold through a conspiracy, without proper accounting, with the intention of misappropriating the proceeds. The police registered a case against Omprakash Singh, Sanjay son of Ramniwas, Sanjay alias Bachiya, Rajesh Ola, and Sunil Kumar Gurjar under Sections 420, 406, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(2)(v) of the SC/ST Act. Rajesh Ola had already been arrested, while Sunil Kumar Gurjar was arrested on December 28th (Sunday). The police are investigating other accused persons involved in the case and the financial transactions.
