Commendable work by Advocates Kailash and Omkarnath's work in getting justice.

Supreme Court judge Pankaj Mitthal said in the Civil Court on Friday that The role of advocates in getting justice is important and crucial. There is a chain of advocates in getting justice in Civil Court Gorakhpur. In this series, the work of late Kailash Pati Mishra and late Omkar Nath Mishra is an example. Which is in the interest of justice and advocates. The work done in getting justice to increase pride will always be remembered. The judge of the Supreme Court New Delhi was unveiling the picture of late Kailash Pati Mishra and late Omkar Nath Mishra under the aegis of the Bar Association in the Civil Court. He said that the work of both of them as advocates is inspiring and guiding and infuses energy. Late Kailash Pati Mishra earned fame by practicing law for about 48 years in the period from 1946 to 1994 in Civil Court Gorakhpur. Educated at Government High School Basti, Ewing Christian College Allahabad and Allahabad University, he completed his MA in Mathematics in 1940 and LLB in 1944. He joined the bar as an advocate in 1945. He practised exclusively on the civil side of law and was a founder member of the Civil Court Club. He worked as a legal advisor of the North Eastern Railway and as an advocate of the Central Bank of India.

Along with big civil cases of Gorakhpur, he played a supporting role in judicial cases of various social organizations.

Along with being the lifelong manager of Sant Vinoba Degree College Deoria, he contributed to the field of education by joining various educational institutions along with Tulsidas Inter College (TDM) Gorakhpur. The founder of Janta High School Bishanpura, along with studying tennis, badminton and having interest in agriculture and horticulture, he was always ready to get justice. He died on 21 November 1994. His work as an advocate is a source of inspiration.

Smritish Omkarnath Mishra Advocate By imbibing the ideals of his father, Smritish Omkar Nath Mishra was ready to get justice. He contributed to getting justice by practicing law for more than 50 years during the period from 1967 to 2021 in Civil Court Gorakhpur. Worked in various social organizations along with making important contribution in the investigation team of Sant Kabir Parinirvan Sthal Kabir Cave. Along with being the advocate of Mandi Samiti, he also served in Railway Claim Tribunal and Government and Non-Government Arbitration. He was a member of Arbitration Council of India, New Delhi and Indian Institute, New Delhi. Apart from being an advocate, his contribution in social work is exemplary.

He passed away on 26 April 2021 during the Corona period and he remained engaged in this profession throughout his life. The decision you took to put up the pictures of both of them in the Bar Association auditorium of Gorakhpur is commendable. This will inspire other advocates. The third generation of a family serving as an advocate is praiseworthy. Which is being discharged by Supreme Court Advocate on Record Anupam Mishra.

The chief guest was welcomed by Sadar MP Ravi Kishan Shukla and Mayor Dr. Manglesh Kumar Srivastava by giving a bouquet and the officials of the Bar Association jointly garlanded him.

On this occasion, Advocate on Record Anupam Mishra, Family Court Judge Rajeshwar Shukla, Bar Council Member and former President Madhusudan Tripathi, Bar Association Civil Court Gorakhpur President Bhanu Pratap Pandey, General Secretary Girijesh Mani Tripathi, Avnish Nath Mishra, Sangeeta Tiwari, Rameshwar Dhar Dwivedi, Dharmendra Mishra, Narendra Dhar Dwivedi, Parmanand Ram Tripathi, Ravi Dubey Faiyaz Khan, Subhash Shukla, Ambika Srivastava, Dr. Soni Singh, Dr. Sujit Kumar Srivastava, Indian Journalist Association National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, Satish Mani Tripathi, and administrative officers and advocates were present.
