■ Security of journalists is impossible without an organization.

An important meeting of the Indian Journalist Association Sant Kabir Nagar / Mehdawal was held at the Mehdawal Dak Bungalow under the chairmanship of the Tehsil President of the Association Dharmendra Mishra. In the meeting, the expansion and strengthening of the organization was discussed and the work being done by the organization was reviewed pointwise. Chief Guest National President Seraj Ahmed Qureshi and Special Guest National General Secretary Giriraj Singh and State Organization Secretary Purvanchal K.D. Siddiqui were present in the meeting.

 Addressing the meeting, National President Seraj Ahmed Qureshi said that continuous efforts are being made by the Central Government to make a Journalist Protection Law. With the enactment of this law, there will be relief from fake cases against journalists and a sense of security will arise among the journalists. Without this law, problems are arising on the impartiality of journalists. People are misusing the fourth pillar by making all kinds of fake allegations, which will not be tolerated at all. He stressed that if a person does politics in the guise of journalism, then he should not be made a member of the organization under any circumstances, no matter how close he is.

Addressing the meeting, National General Secretary Giriraj Singh said that in today's time, journalists are facing a lot of problems but there is no need to be afraid of it. You people should maintain impartiality in your writing. The organization is always ready to help at every level, but exceptions need to be avoided.

 State Organization Secretary K.D. Siddiqui said that to strengthen the organization, we all have to run a membership campaign and get unbiased and undisputed journalists to join the organization. While making the organization stronger, the fight of journalists will be fought at every level.

Many journalists including Tehsil President Mehdawal Dharmendra Kumar Mishra, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Bechan Prasad Yadav, District General Secretary Vikas Agrahari, Tehsil General Secretary Iman Karim Ansari, Dharmendra Mishra, Organization Secretary Amarendra Pandey, Legal Advisor Anupam Mishra, Amber Bastivi, Kamlesh Kumar, Shivmurat Lodhi were present in the meeting.
