CID must investigate the murder of Ajay Sinha Journalist Latehar and financial help should be given to the family - Devanand Sinha.

Journalist Protection Act should be implemented in Jharkhand - Lalan Sahu

Ranchi, Jharkhand.

 A delegation of journalists under the leadership of Devanand Sinha, State General Secretary of Indian Journalist Association Jharkhand and Director Public 24, met Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rahul Sinha and submitted a memorandum to him. In which Ajay Sinha, Bureau Chief of Rashtriya New Mail of Latehar district and Divisional In-charge of Asim Jharkhand, was murdered by unknown criminals and his body was thrown in a mutilated condition. There should be an impartial CID investigation into this incident and the government demanded that the government provide free education to his children, a job to his wife and financial assistance for their maintenance. Also demanded to implement Journalist Protection Act in Jharkhand. Showing promptness on this, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi talked to the District Welfare Department, Latehar and said that he will try to provide appropriate funds for the future of the deceased's children and wife. Journalists appreciated this effort and promptness of Deputy Commissioner Ranchi.

 On this occasion, Indian Journalist Association State General Secretary Devanand Sinha, State Vice President Women's Wing Madhu Sinha, State Secretary Vijay Dutt Pintu, District President Vipin Kumar Singh, District General Secretary Rafi Sami, District President Women's Wing Shreyoshi Mukherjee, Senior Journalist Naval Kishore Singh, Senior Journalist Journalists like Lalan Kumar Sahu, Saurabh Rai, Seema Kashyap, Deepak Linda etc. were present.
