Seraj Ahmad Quraishi was honored with "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award 2026."

Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, National President Indian Journalists Association and senior journalist, has been honored with the prestigious "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award 2026" for his outstanding social and journalistic contributions. This honor was presented to him by the Sunrise Education and Welfare Association (SEWA) on the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

Seraj Ahmad Quraishi has been active in journalism for a long time, raising the voice of the deprived, exploited, and needy sections of society. Under his leadership, the Indian Journalist Association has taken several important initiatives for the rights, safety, and respect of journalists, which have been instrumental in bringing positive change in society.
