Indian Journalist Association Jamshedpur unit organized a flag hoisting program on the 78th Indian Independence Day at the district office in Sakchi Jamshedpur under the chairmanship of District President Anil Kumar Maurya. In today's program, Jharkhand State Secretary Atif Khan hoisted the national flag tricolor along with the members of the District Committee at ten in the morning.
Heartiest wishes to all of you on the 78th Indian Independence Day. This auspicious occasion reminds us of the unique contribution of those great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and gave us the gift of independence. Under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi's truth and non-violence, heroes like Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rani Lakshmibai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Lala Lajpat Rai liberated us from the chains of the British Empire.
On this occasion, Jharkhand State Secretary of the Indian Journalist Association, Atif Khan, in his statement said that the struggle and sacrifice of these great heroes established us as an independent nation. Today, it is our duty to dedicate ourselves to building the India of their dreams, where every person gets equality, freedom, and justice.
Whereas, District President of Indian Journalist Association East Singhbhum, Mr. Anil Kumar Maurya said that Independence Day not only reminds us of our glorious history, but also inspires us to decide the direction of our future. Come, let us all together take a pledge to work for the development and unity of the country on this Independence Day. It is our responsibility to protect this heritage of independence.
All the members present raised slogans of freedom fighters and wished Happy Independence Day. At the end of the program, sweets were distributed among the people present.
