Indian Journalist Association submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate of Maharajganj regarding the indecency with journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi.

Indian Journalist Association District Spokesperson and journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi complained through the Chief Minister's Public Hearing Portal about substandard interlocking work in Ward No. 6 Azad Nagar, Partawal Nagar Panchayat, Maharajganj district, which is located on Rampur Choubey Road, passing by the ward councilor's door. However, the concerned JE who prepared the report hastily dismissed the matter by uploading photos of another location where the drain and interlocking work had been done.

In this regard, Indian Journalist Association District Spokesperson Karunakar Ram Tripathi again complained about the correct location being inspected.

A week after the complaint, Nisar Khan, the senior clerk of the Nagar Panchayat, phoned journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi and asked him to come to the site. When journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi arrived at the scene with his fellow journalist Amit Mishra, the concerned JE became enraged. When journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi showed him the incorrect report and photo posted on the Chief Minister's Public Hearing Portal, he said, "I had given the correct report; the uploader had uploaded it incorrectly." After some time, Ward Councilor representative Saheb Roy arrived and began behaving rudely with journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi. The Ward Councilor representative spoke to journalist Karunakar Ram Tripathi in an indecent, abusive, and threatening tone.

In this regard, a team of journalists from the Indian Journalist Association, Maharajganj, submitted a written memorandum to District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma, demanding appropriate action.

District spokesperson Karunakar Ram Tripathi, District Executive Member Amit Mishra, Tehsil Vice President Mahesh Vishwakarma, Tehsil Media Incharge Ram Ashish Vishwakarma, and other journalists were present on the occasion.
