Urdu essay competition was organized under the aegis of Mohammad Hamid Ali Educational Trust, Gorakhpur.
Students from class 8 to class 12 participated in this essay competition organized on the topic "Progress of Urdu" (Mumkina Aqdamat).
Secretary of Mohammad Hamid Ali Educational Trust, Gorakhpur, Mehboob Saeed Haris said that this type of Urdu essay competition develops the writing style of students and increases their interest in Urdu language. Our aim is also that people should read and learn Urdu language as much as possible. Because Urdu language is not the language of any particular sect, but the language of all Indians.
Siddiq Majaz Gorakhpuri was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony, while Mohammad Atif, Qazi Tawassul Hussain, Hasan Jamal Babua Bhai, Nadilullah Abbasi were present as special guests.
The first prize was received by Tasmiya Mehboob, a student of Islamia Girls School, the second prize was received by Nazmeen Irshad, a student of Imambara Girls Inter College, and the third prize was received by Gulnaz Asir, a student of Maulana Azad Girls Inter College.
Apart from Haji Mohammad Ifrahim, Tahir Ali Sabzposh, Zafar Ahmed Khan, Syed Waliul Iqbal, etc., literature lovers were specially present at the program.
