Mohammed Ashfaq Arif has been appointed as the State President of Indian Journalist Association, Madhya Pradesh.

On the recommendation of National President of Indian Journalist Association, Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, National Organization Secretary, Akhileshwar Dhar Dwivedi has been appointed Mohammed Ashfaq Arif, a resident of Jabalpur, Editor of Narsinghpur Kesari National Newspaper, Jabalpur and Journalist of Hiravati News Times Hindi Daily, as the State President of Madhya Pradesh and has expressed the hope that by connecting all the journalists from village to city with Indian Journalist Association, he will always fight for the protection of journalist interests and against incidents of harassment.

Mr. Mohammed Ashfaq Arif said that the objective of Indian Journalist Association is to get Journalist Protection Act, formation of Journalist Constituency in Legislative Council, formation of Digital Media Board and National Journalist Digital Register made, for which I will keep on making efforts.

On being made State President, Mohammed Ashfaq Arif while expressing his gratitude to the National President and all the committee members of Indian Journalist Association said that I will respect this post and try to fulfil the expectations of my organisation.
