Indian Journalist Association Kanpur unit organized a National Journalist Conference and a seminar titled 'Role of Journalism in the Present Context' at the local Stock Exchange Auditorium, Civil Lines, Kanpur.

 The conference was inaugurated by chief guest Seraj Ahmad Quraishi.

 Speaking in the seminar on the role of journalism in the present context, Dr. Ramesh Verma, a senior journalist from Kanpur, emphasized that journalists must follow the ethical values ​​of journalism.

 Former President Kanpur Press Club Anup Bajpai cautioned the journalists that for good and respectable journalism, journalists should know how to listen more than speaking.
