On the occasion of World Human Rights Day, a seminar titled "The Role of Human Rights as the Foundation of Freedom, Justice, and Peace" was organized in the District Advocates' Auditorium under the auspices of the Third Eye Human Rights Organization, chaired by senior advocate and former president of the District Advocates' Association, Ratneshwar Shukla. The chief guest of the program was Jitendra Kumar Mishra, Dean, Department of Law, Gorakhpur University. Special guests included President of the District Advocates' Association and senior advocate Pramod Kumar Pandey, General Secretary of the District Advocates' Association, Chandra Prakash Mishra, Professor of Environmental Law at Madan Mohan Malaviya Industrial University, and senior advocate Uday Pratap Singh as the keynote speaker. Senior advocate Anup Pandey conducted the proceedings.

 At the beginning of the seminar, Shailendra Kumar Mishra, President of Teesri Aankh Human Rights Organization, expressed his gratitude to all the guests present and explained in detail about the rights of human rights.

Addressing the seminar, Chief Guest Jitendra Kumar Mishra said that providing justice to the human society is the real responsibility of human rights.

Special Guests Prof. Dr. Rehmat Ali, Pramod Kumar Pandey, Chandra Prakash Mishra and Prof. Govind Pandey, Nisha Kinnar, Ekta Maheshwari, Dr. Roop Kumar Banerjee and the main speaker of the seminar, Uday Pratap Singh said that the basis of human rights is the freedom, justice and peace of the human society.

Presiding over the program on this occasion, Senior Advocate Ratneshwar Shukla said that in the present times, there is a need to make people aware about human rights.
