Chikli, Buldhana journalists paid a courtesy visit to Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, national president of Indian Journalist Association. During this meeting, everyone discussed burning issues, problems and interests of journalists in detail and also deliberated upon strengthening the Indian Journalist Association Buldhana unit. The journalists unanimously spoke about strengthening the organization by connecting active journalists of Buldhana and neighbouring districts to it. Everyone unanimously said that Indian Journalist Association is a conscious, active, strong and struggling journalist organization.
The falling credibility of rural journalists and journalism is a matter of concern. We cannot even imagine newspapers and news channels without rural journalists. It is because of 60 percent rural journalists that headlines are made in newspapers and channels. Rural journalists are the backbone of journalism. Without which no newspaper, news channel and news agency can survive for even two days. News Reporting of Rural journalists plays a very important role.
